Intergenerational Strategies for Supporting Children, Youth, Older Adults, Families, and Communities.
The Penn State Intergenerational Program, rooted in Penn State Extension, provides leadership and resource support for Extension educators and other professionals interested in developing and studying intergenerational programs and policies that benefit young people, older adults, families, and communities.
Research Framework:
- Design methodology for bringing the generations together and the testing of that methodology with various groups of people, in various settings, and in various organizational and cultural contexts. [Design methods and test]
- Establish applied research framework: focused on informing intervention/education strategies.
- Concept papers to help define/build the intergenerational (IG) studies field.
