The Penn State Intergenerational Program provides leadership and resource support for organizations interested in developing and studying intergenerational programs and activities that enrich people's lives and help address vital social and community issues.

Past Specialized Training Session

On July 29, 2009, the Intergenerational Programs & Possibilities within Cooperative Extension meeting was held for Extension professionals and their collaborators interested in learning more about intergenerational (IG) programs and possibilities in the national Cooperative Extension system. Support for Kinship Care Families
An Intergenerational Approach to ESL Education

The IG-ESL initiative is a unique intergenerational English language learning program that was piloted during the summer of 2013 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The program was designed to strengthen and expand college and secondary school students' English as a Second Language (ESL) skills while helping older adult volunteers develop professional skills in ESL education and expand their interests and abilities for engaging youth in community settings.

Using Technology to Connect Generations
