Intergenerational Approaches for Living, Learning, and Growing in the Mid-Atlantic Region

The conference was held in Lancaster, PA at the Holiday Inn on July 10-12, 2024. This 2-1/2 day conference included ha nds-on learning, workshops, pre- and post- conference tours and group activities, interest group meetings, and pre- and post- conference site visits to innovative intergenerational programs and places in the Lancaster region.

It was major event, showcasing innovative, impactful, intergenerational initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.

Conference Objectives

  • Inform and educate professionals about innovative and evidence-informed intergenerational program models taking root in PA and beyond.
  • Highlight the benefits of intergenerational programs and practices for promoting health and wellness, supporting families, and enriching community quality of life.
  • Provide information, training and support for those interested in joining, replicating, and/or developing new intergenerational initiatives.

Staff members, administrators, educators, advocates, volunteers, students, and others who are interested in learning more about intergenerational programs and practices in diverse settings.
