Conference Highlights

  • A pre-conference exhibition with "winning" submissions from an Intergenerational Community Design Competition. This inaugural design competition event aims to spark creativity and innovation in designing spaces that foster intergenerational community connection and inclusion.
  • An opening celebration with the New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra.
  • A pre-conference site visit to MudGirls Studios, a nonprofit pottery center that empowers disadvantaged women and fosters intergenerational community engagement.
  • A wide range of sessions - including workshops, panel discussions, round tables, poster sessions and individual presentations - organized into the following seven tracks:
    • Health and Wellness
    • Education and Lifelong Learning
    • Grandfamilies and Kinship Care
    • Community Participation and Placemaking
    • Natural Environment
    • Arts and Culture
    • Multigenerational Workforce
