Penn State Intergenerational Program
The Penn State Intergenerational Program (PSIP), rooted in Penn State Extension but inclusive of a broader base of scholars and practitioners, has been a consistent driver and organizational anchor for the university's contributions to the intergenerational field. Since 2001, the PSIP has been instrumental in developing and piloting new intergenerational models and curricular materials spanning the areas of civic engagement and community planning, nutrition education, environmental education, early childhood education, kinship family support, and farm family succession planning.
