New Research from Penn State University.

A team of Penn State University researchers published an article in the Journal of Health and Aging, entitled, “Health Trajectories of Family Caregivers: Associations with Care Transitions and Adult Day Service Use.” The research team - Yin Liu, Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) doctoral candidate, Kyungmin Kim, postdoctoral scholar, and Steven H. Zarit, Distinguished Professor of HDFS - examined family caregivers’ health changes over one year on four health dimensions with particular attention to caregiving transitions and adult day service (ADS) use. Their findings highlight the potential health benefits of ADS use for family caregivers.
