Seniors living in Poverty

15% of people age 65 and over are living in poverty, according to the U.S. Census Supplemental Poverty Measure.

Women and people of color are especially impacted. With the growth of America's older population, there could be more than 11 million seniors living in poverty just 16 years from now.
