On Demand is optimized for mobile devices, making learning convenient and accessible wherever you are.
On Demand features
The first time you log in to On Demand you will be shown a short overview video highlighting On Demand features.
In addition to simplified registration and easy filtering of course content, in On Demand you will find:
- Stop and start a course. Learn at your own pace. If you are interrupted while you are taking a course, you can stop and return to the course at a later time.
- Preview all content free of charge. Create an account to take any course for free. You only pay if you need a certificate of completion.
- Video timers. The content in our course videos is so important. You can no longer continue in a course until the video has played in its entirety.
- Assessment grading. You must score a minimum of 80 percent correct to receive a certificate of completion, or you will have to review the course and take the assessment again.
- Online professional development certificate available. There is a $5.00 fee per two-hour course to receive professional development hours for most courses. You will be directed to a credit card payment screen prior to taking the assessment. You must have a credit card to complete the course for professional development credit in On Demand.
- You can pay for more than one On Demand course at a time. Better Kid Care's On Demand system has an option to prepay for multiple professional development courses for you and/or your staff. See the steps for purchasing course prepayment codes.
- Print your own professional development certificate of completion. After you pay and successfully answer a minimum of 80 percent of the assessment questions, you can choose to print your certificate of completion and/or have it sent to your e-mail address.
- View/print a complete list of all the Better Kid Care courses you have completed. In On Demand, navigate to “My Completed Courses” and be emailed a list of your completed courses in On Demand.
Better Kid Care’s On Demand works best with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. If you are having issues with the functionality of On Demand when using Internet Explorer, Edge, or Safari, please try switching the browser to Chrome or Firefox.
