Written permission is required to use images and graphics included in Better Kid Care resources. Much of Better Kid Care’s graphic content has royalty-free licensing with Getty Images, allowing us to publish educational materials for public use as-is. That license does not extend to anyone outside of Penn State to use in any other way without renegotiating a new license with Getty Images for their own use.

  • BKC’s license is in perpetuity for BKC and extends to Penn State University as the parent entity.
  • Licensing also covers derivative content that BKC has created based on Getty content.
  • Not all images used by Better Kid Care fall under the Getty agreement. Refer to the “Image credits” screen at the end of each course for information about specific photos. If image credits aren’t included in the course, contact Better Kid Care for permission to use them.
