Create an account

You must have your own email address to create an account in On Demand. If you don't have an email account, create a free account using any provider. Google mail is a popular free email provider.

  1. Go to Better Kid Care On Demand.
  2. Click the "Create an Account" button.
  3. Fill out the requested profile information.
  4. Click the "Submit" button.
  5. You can now sign in to your account with your email address and password.
  6. Navigate to "Course List” and see the courses approved by your state.
  7. Click on the course title you want to take.
  8. Click “Start Now" to begin a course.

Helpful tips:

  1. You must set your internet browser preferences to work with our system so you can watch videos and download handouts.
    • Allow cookies for the On Demand web site.
    • Allow pop-ups for the On Demand web site.
    • Trust the security certificate for the On Demand web site.
  2. Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer to access all course handouts. You can download Acrobat Reader here.

Certificate of completion

You have two options for purchasing the assessment and receiving a certificate of completion for courses in the On Demand system. You must have a credit card to complete any assessment so you can receive professional development credit.

  • For a single course: Log into the On Demand system, progress through the course, pay to access the assessment using a credit card that is processed through a secure on-line payment system, complete the assessment, and print your certificate of completion.
