Welcome to Better Kid Care! Better Kid Care's On Demand system provides online professional development courses anytime you are ready to learn.
Registration for On Demand is separate from any online state registry system.
To begin an online training course, select "Sign In for Online Courses." If you have completed courses through Better Kid Care in the past, sign in to your existing account; if not, select the "Create an Account" button on the sign-in page.
State specific information
All Better Kid Care online On Demand courses are accepted by the Iowa Department of Human Services to meet child care professional development requirements in Iowa.
If you need credit in Iowa's i-PoWeR system (DHS), you will need to self-report your completion. After you complete training from Penn State Better Kid Care and receive the certificate, go to i-PoWeR to upload your certificate into the Professional Development section of your profile.
