There are many in service professional development opportunities available to our Pennsylvania Agricultural Sciences Educators. These activities are either hosted by the Center for Professional Personnel Development or are opportunities that we have found out about that are available to Pennsylvania teachers.
The Center for Professional Personnel Development has created yearly themed professional development programming to better serve our teachers and their needs for the classroom. The theme for the 2023-2024 academic year is focused on the Agricultural Technology & Mechanics industry.

The Center for Professional Personnel Development has created yearly themed professional development programming to better serve our teachers and their needs for the classroom. The theme for 2020-2021 year is focused on the Biotechnology industry.
Our needs assessment, which is sent to all Pennsylvania agricultural science educators, revealed that teachers were in need of professional development opportunities that relate to Ag Business which is how our focus for professional development offerings were determined for the coming year.
