Curriculum modules: bioethics, fermentation and fermented biomaterials

Agricultural biotechnology teacher professional development: Interactive curriculum modules for Grade 9-12 on biotechnology topics of ethics, biomaterials and fermentation

Mission

Enable Pennsylvania high school teachers to engage students with interactive biotechnology learning modules on ethics, biomaterials, fermentation concepts.

Objective

Interactive learning modules are do-it-yourself laboratory modules and discussion topics for introductory, intermediate and advanced high-school students. The modules are mapped to Pennsylvania Department of Education Standards with guidance from STEM Education Outreach Specialist, Center for Science and the Schools, Pennsylvania State University
