Agritourism at Penn State
The Penn State Agritourism Program provides research and educational support for agritourism operators and the organizations that support them. We develop resources to aid in agritourism business success and study the impact of agritourism ventures on farmers and their communities.
Our goal is to help agritourism operators in Pennsylvania to connect with consumers, build strong businesses, and foster vibrant communities. Our program also strives to enhance public understanding of the role that agritourism plays in the economy.
The Penn State Agritourism Program is a collaboration of specialists at the Penn State Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education; Penn State Extension, and Penn State Law.
