When looking for a graduate program, I narrowed my search to programs and professionals in the field that were recommended to me from my adviser in my undergrad degree program. What made Penn State rise above the rest was the personal contact through phone calls and e-mails that I received almost immediately after I showed interest in the department. They went out of their way to make sure all of my questions were answered as well as to make me feel welcome at Penn State.
