Becca Weir, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics at Penn State with a research and Extension appointment. Her integrated research and Extension programs focus on farm management, risk management, and agricultural policy topics. Dr. Weir's primary goals in this position are to identify strategies that help producers manage risk and volatility, evaluate the impacts of federal and state policy interventions on producers, and share these insights to inform decision-making and enhance the economic viability of Pennsylvania agriculture.
