Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Admission criteria and course requirements for the Ph.D. degree in Agricultural, Environmental, and Regional Economics.

The Ph.D. degree is a research-oriented degree that provides students with the tools, skills, and experience necessary to conduct theoretical and applied research in our program' three fields of concentration.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the doctoral program in EEFE is based on a careful evaluation of an applicant's potential to successfully complete the degree program.

Degree Requirements

Students in the Ph.D. program are required to complete 36 credits of graduate course work, write a second-year paper and final Ph.D. dissertation, and pass a final oral examination and a comprehensive exam.
