“Health Insurance and National Farm Policy” wins Honorable Mention for 2018’s Outstanding Choices Article

The HIREDnAg team is a group of research and Extension professionals committed to understanding how health insurance decisions impact farm and ranch families. The project was supported by the Agricultural and Food Research Initiative Competitive Program of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).

The article, published in Choices Magazine in 2018, was selected for Honorable Mention “based on its high readership as well as the feedback from a panel of reviewers,” according to an email from the Editors.

According to its website, “Choices is an online peer-reviewed magazine published by the AAEA for readers interested in the policy and management of agriculture, the food industry, natural resources, rural communities, and the environment.”
