Marc Ribaudo Receives Outstanding Alumni Award

'83 PhD in Agricultural Economics, Marc is a senior economist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service, focusing on water-quality policy. During his career, Ribaudo has addressed issues such as conservation policy, water quality improvement, environmental credit trading and the cost of reducing nutrient loads to the Gulf of Mexico.
Bobby Gempesaw to be new provost at Miami

Conrado "Bobby" Gempesaw (1985 Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics), dean of the Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware, has accepted the position of provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Miami University.
Leslie N. Firth Receives Award

1961 M.S. in Agricultural Economics, he received the 2009 Charles Lupton Volunteer Award from the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. This award honors outstanding volunteer service to the division, the University and the community. Les has been particularly active in the CAS Alumni Council for many years.
