Dr. Daniel Foster

This award recognizes faculty with outstanding skills in undergraduate academic advising, career planning, and personal counseling. Advisers in the college are nominated by alumni, faculty, students, and administrators.

Selection was based on the overall effectiveness of the student advisor as reflected by the nominating documents.  Excellence in three areas were emphasized:  academic advising, individual student goal-setting and career planning, and personal counseling.

Dr. Fosters nomination was supported by current students, alumni and Penn State faculty, and is a true tribute to the important impact he has on the lives of students.

Dr. Foster will be recognized at the Spring Graduation Luncheon on Sunday, May 8, prior to Commencement by the College Alumni Office and the Office for Undergraduate Education.

Once again, congratulations and our sincere thanks to Dr. Foster for his contributions to the success of our students and the effectiveness of our College.
