Learn more about the Small Business Innovation Research program through virtual trainings

The USDA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Office is pleased to offer an online training opportunity for those who would like to learn more about the SBIR program, which provides roughly $27,000,000 annually to small businesses to address problems facing rural America.

The online training is composed of five weekly one-hour webinars (live or recorded) and a brief activity aimed at discovering previous SBIR awardees and complementary service providers in your area. There is no charge for participation.

To accommodate people’s schedules, three sessions of the USDA SBIR Outreach Training and Technical Assistance Program will be offered. 

  • Session 1: Every Tuesday from 2:00 – 3:00 (EDT) starting June 16th and ending July 14th
  • Session 2:  Every Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 (EDT) starting June 17th and ending July 15th
  • Session 3: Every Thursday from 2:00 – 3:00 (EDT) starting June 18th and ending July 16th
