Two Center-related research papers recognized with awards

Stephan Goetz and his co-authors recently received awards for their published research from the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and from Emerald Publishing.

Goetz was a member of a six-person team honored by the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences as the Eastern Region 1st Place Winners of the "Program Excellence Through Research" award for their research publication (cited below) which assessed the effectiveness of the Penn State Extension Dining with Diabetes programThis award emphasizes the use of research to improve existing programs or to develop new programs.

Goetz was also a member of a three-person team recognized with an Emerald Publishing Group "Literati 2019 Highly Commended Award" for their paper published in Agricultural Finance Review:
