USDA awards grants to spur economic development in rural communities across US, Northeast

In April, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) announced more than $12 million in grants to support research, education and Extension activities aimed at increasing prosperity and economic security for farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs and consumers across the nation. Grant recipients include a number of our partners in the Northeast.
