University of the District of Columbia "Just CAUSES" newsletter is a source for urban agriculture information

Posted: August 14, 2014

If our recent urban farming webinar is any indication, interest in urban agriculture is on the rise, and researchers and Extension staff across the Northeast are working to build capacity in this area. One example is the College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) at the University of the District of Columbia. In its most recent newsletter, CAUSES shared information about its Center for Urban Agriculture.

The staff at the UDC Center for Urban Agriculture conduct on-farm research, run a master gardener training program, provide education on growing and preparing specialty and ethnic crops, and more.
