Maine's blueberry industry depends on the labor of migrant workers, who travel to Maine from Mexico and Haiti each year.

As part of a 2011 University of Maine Cooperative Extension project, Extension Specialist John Jemison talked with migrant workers around the state, and learned that one of the biggest issues facing farm workers is affordable health care. He spoke with Maine Public Broadcasting Network about this issue and about a possible solution - a mobile clinic operated by the Maine Migrant Health Program.
