Using Wordpress to Create Student Portfolios

In many of our classes, our students create work they may want to keep for their professional lives.  Furthermore, permitting students to see each other’s work and enabling them to comment on each other’s work can be very helpful.  In my Floriculture Class, I am starting students with ePortfolios via WordPress.  You can also use Google Sites, Wix, and Pathbrite.  Obviously, the limiting factor to using these sites will depend on the privacy and technology policies of your school district.  However, these are options when showcasing and promoting students’ work.

Here is a link to our Penn Manor Plant Science WordPress site.  We use this for e-commerce as well as a landing site for our student portfolios in Floriculture.
