Angela Becker & George Dietrich have been named as the representatives from Penn State to participate in the Future Agriscience Teacher Symposium (FAST) that will take place in Nashville at the National Association of Agricultural Educators conference in December.

Only 20 students were selected from a national pool of applicants, based on their proven leadership abilities, previous volunteer and advocacy work, and demonstration of passion for agricultural education, their chosen profession. The Future Agriculture Teacher Symposium will be held Monday, December 4 through Saturday, December 9th in Nashville, TN.

The National Teach Ag Campaign is designed to raise awareness of the need to recruit and retain quality and diverse agriculture teachers, encourage others to consider a career teaching agriculture, and celebrating the positive contributions that agriculture teachers make in our schools and communities.
