Wanted: Proposals for Ag Ed Magazine

The theme for the edition is "No Borders on Student Success: Global Learning in Agriculture".

Purposeful, meaningful global learning can occur on and off campus.   The purpose of the September/October edition of Agricultural Education Magazine is to explore teaching and learning practices that develop the global competency of agriculture students and educators.

Have you “globalized” your agriculturally-focused instruction?  Do you engage in agricultural education activities in other parts of the world?  We invite you to share your innovative experiences and ideas pertaining to “No Borders on Student Success: Global Learning in Agriculture”.  How can you take part in this one-time only offer?  Details below:

  • Submit an idea: Pitch your idea by selecting one of the following three options: 100 word abstract, one minute video pitch, or descriptive tweet.  Abstracts and links to video pitches should be emailed to foster@psu.edu, and all Twitter submissions should contain the hashtag #AgEdMag.
  • Deadline: All ideas should be submitted by 5:00 EDT on May 25, 2016.
  • Follow up:  If selected,  a 1,500 word article will be due July 1, 2016. We hope for awesome photos as well, but will work with you to best present your incredible ideas/work.
