Master of Professional Studies Degree

The Master of Professional Studies degree in Community and Economic Development (CEDEV) is a 30 credit graduate program offered entirely online through the Penn State World Campus. As a CEDEV student, you will learn theory and its practical application to real life opportunities and challenges faced by communities around the globe.

With the online MPS in community and economic development, students gain the knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of communities and community organizations and inspire positive changes on a local, regional, and national level.

All CEDEV MPS students are required to complete a two-part Scholarship and Research Integrity (SARI) training program. The SARI program was designed to provide responsible conduct of research (RCR) education for Penn State master’s and doctoral students.
