Valuing Vaccinations Across Generations

People of all ages should be talking more and doing more about getting the vaccinations needed to build healthy communities for all generations. That is the goal of "Valuing Vaccines Across the Generations" – an awareness campaign launched by Generations United in partnership with the Gerontological Society of America and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The Valuing Vaccines Across the Generations awareness campaign, with support from Pfizer, aims to bridge efforts for immunizations within segmented groups into an intergenerational conversation within families and among generations.

Generations United’s unique perspective advocates for vaccinations as a part of the commitment of caring between generations. The campaign includes:

Culturally relevant materials will be developed for countries outside of the U.S. as the campaign expands abroad. One such initiative is taking root in Japan. For the V.V.A.G.-Japan awareness campaign, Generations United is working with JANCA (Japan NGO Council on Ageing) and a cross-sectoral, multi-agency team of collaborating organizations.
