Nur Husna is the PSU Visiting Global Teach Ag! Fellow. Nur is from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. She is a doctoral student in Workforce Education & Development at Penn State. She graduated from University Putra Malaysia (previously known as Malaysian Agriculture University) in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree in Science majoring in Microbiology.
In 2010, she completed her Master's Degree in Technical and Vocational Education (agriculture education) from the same University. Prior coming to Penn State, Nur worked for the College of Education, Univerisiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) which provides teacher training programs. At UTM Nur teach agricultural courses such as ornamental horticulture, plant propagation and management, agro technology and livestock production. Nur's PhD dissertation will be looking at Malaysian Living Skills teaching preparedness. Nur will return to Malaysia to teach after the completion of her PhD.
